Welcome to the Nanda Travel website (the "Website"). These Terms and Conditions of Use (the “Terms of Use”) apply to the Nanda Travel web site located at www.nandatravel.com, and all associated sites linked to www.nandatravel.com by G C Nanda and Sons Ltd and its affiliates (collectively, the “Site”). The Site is the property of G C Nanda and Sons Ltd. (“G C Nanda and Sons Ltd" also known as" Nanda Travel”, “we” or “us”) and its licensors. Your contract in respect to your booking is made with GC Nanda & Sons Ltd (“the company”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a licensed Travel Agent and a Hong Kong registered company. By using the site, you agree to these terms of use, Any holiday booked with us is protected and governed by Hong Kong Law.

We may make changes to these Terms by updating them at any time and your continued use of our Service after any changes come into effect will constitute your acceptance of the updated Terms. Any existing bookings will continue to be governed by the Terms that applied to your booking when the booking was made. We recommend that you read these Terms before any purchase.
Your use of this site is expressly conditioned on your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. By using this site, you signify that you unconditionally agree and accept to be legally bound by the Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms and Conditions, you must not use this site. The Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the site.
Certain products and services have their own specific governing terms and conditions which shall apply in addition to the Terms and Conditions. These terms and conditions for a specific product or service shall include any terms and conditions found on your screens (in relation to the site) and when using any part of this site. In the event of any inconsistency between the terms and conditions for a specific product or service and the Terms and Conditions, the terms and conditions for the specific product or service shall prevail in relation to that specific product or service. If you violate a Travel Provider's Rules and Restrictions, your booking may be cancelled and you may be refused access to the relevant Travel Service. You may also lose any money paid for such booking, depending on the Rules and Restrictions of the Travel provider.
If you are accessing our site or initiating transactions on our site, you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy and the Security Policy.
This Website is provided to assist customers in creating tailor-made journeys, carefully crafted to deliver a personalized travel like no other. The terms "we", "us", "our", and “Nanda Travel", "GCN" refer to G C Nanda and Sons Ltd. The term "you", “customer”, or “the traveler” refers to the customer visiting or using the Website and booking a reservation through our travel service agents.
Insurance
You must have travel insurance, whether from Nanda Travel or any other insurance provider, with a minimum medical, evacuation and repatriation coverage of USD$200,000 covering all applicable dates of travel with Nanda Tavel and any third-party cruise operator or tour operators which comprise any part of your travel program (hereinafter, “Medical Emergency Travel Insurance Coverage”). You acknowledge and agree that the Medical Emergency Travel Insurance Coverage must cover personal injury and emergency medical expenses. You further represent and warrant to Nanda Travel that you shall obtain the required Medical Emergency Travel Insurance Coverage and that it is not the responsibility of Nanda Travel to verify the quality or existence of your Medical Travel Insurance Coverage.
We also highly recommend the purchase of trip cancellation insurance, whether via Nanda Travel or any other insurance provider. Baggage insurance is also recommended. In the event that you must cancel your travel program, trip cancellation insurance may be the only source of reimbursement. You acknowledge and agree that, in the absence of you purchasing trip cancellation insurance, you shall be subject to the cancellation fees provided in these General Terms of Use displayed on this page.
Nanda Travel is only authorized to sell travel insurance for travel originatiing from Hong Kong.
Passports and Visas
Valid passports are required for travel to most destinations. Check with the appropriate consulate or embassy for the latest visa requirements.You must consult the relevant Embassy or Consulate for passport and visa information. Requirements may change so check for up-to-date information before booking and departure and allow sufficient time for all relevant applications.
It is your responsibility to obtain all proper documentation to travel, including but not limited to a passport, any required visas, reciprocity fees, affidavits, birth and marrige certificate requirements, immunizations, vaccinations, etc. which are required for entry, departure and travel to each country or region which comprises part of your travel program. Nanda Travel makes no representations or warrantees as to the accuracy or completeness of any information provided on visas, vaccinations, climate, clothing, baggage, or special equipment and you agree that Nanda Travel is not responsible for any errors or omissions in this information.
Booking Terms and Conditions For Tours
These terms include important limitations that may affect the guest’s legal rights. Guests should read all provisions carefully before agreeing. By accepting, the guest acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these terms. TheseTerms govern the booking and participation in the Tour Package and Journeys between the Guest and GCN. They define the contractual obligations and conditions applicable to both parties.

03. Passport and visa costs
04. Reciprocity fees and other border-related charges
05. Airport departure taxes, unless otherwise noted
06. Excess baggage fees
07. Gratuities of any nature
08. Meals or Beverages not specified in the itinerary
09. Sightseeing not included in the published itinerar
10. Personal expenses, such as laundry, wifi / internet or communication charges, etc
11. Optional activities, which are not specified in the itineraries
12. Any items not mentioned in the inclusion.
Hotel Bookings
All GCN Travel programes are quoted on Twin sharing, per person basis.Most hotels allow check-in during the midafternoon 2-3 pm. If you wish to have a guaranteed room available for immediate check-in upon arrival, an additional room night must be reserved and confirmed in advance. Peak season surcharge/ supplement applicale as per sesonality, like Christmas, New Year etc
Booking and Payment terms
To proceed with a booking, a deposit equal to 30% of the total price of your travel program is required, subject to the applicable Cruise or Hotel Terms and Conditions. Certain components may require a higher deposit or full payment. Accepted payment methods include credit card, certified check and bank transfer.
The remaining balance is due 120 days prior to departure. For reservations made within 90 days of departure, full payment is required at confirmation.
If your travel program includes a Cruise, please refer to the Cruise Terms and Conditions for specific deposit deadlines and amounts based on the selected cruise type. Receipt of the deposit does not constitute confirmation of your booking. A booking is only confirmed once we issue a finalized itinerary along with a proforma invoice indicating the final payment due date. It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that all payments are received by the company on or before the due date. Failure to do so may result in the forfeiture of the deposit and cancellation of the booking. If we are unable to confirm all components of your travel program, we will promptly discuss available alternatives and provide a revised quotation if necessary. Should the revised option differ materially from the original, you will be offered either an alternative arrangement or a refund of your deposit less HKD1000, administrative fee.
Responsibility and Liabilities
The company and its associated agents assume no responsibility for injury, illness, damage, accident, loss, delay, death, or irregularities that may affect persons or property. Guests acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with overseas travel and touring. The company is released from all liabilities arising from circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of terrorism or hijacking, civil unrest, natural disasters, labor strikes, theft, government-issued travel advisories, and other unforeseen events. It reserves the right to alter or modify itineraries in the interest of tour members or due to uncontrollable factors such as weather or local conditions. In the event of cancellation caused by such circumstances—including but not limited to weather disruptions, transport strikes, political unrest, or war—guests shall bear any costs incurred during the processing of the tour.
The company agrees to provide all of the services listed in your travel itinerary, except for the optional services. Optional services will be billed separately. Company has no responsibility for any changes in travel plans caused by airlines, train, ferry delay or rescheduling mandated by any of the aforesaid causes beyond our control, the passenger shall have the option of accepting in lieu of the original tour such rescheduled tour or other substituted tour(s) as may be offered. If you would like to modify any portion of your itinerary, you understand that COMPANY will not bear any of the costs arising from such changes. Refunds for non-used or cancelled services will be issued in accordance with our Terms and Conditions described. All new services will be billed in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. Due to the circumstances, including but not limited to, like closure or maintenance of monuments, weather, time, or traffic, etc., the planned visit or activity will be arranged on the next day if possible. No refund can be made if it’s failed to do so.
Cancellation Policy
All confirmed reservations are subject to a non-refundable administrative fee of HKD1500 per person. In addition to this fee, guests are responsible for any cancellation charges imposed by service providers such as hotels, cruise lines, charter vessels, transfer and activity providers, rail suppliers, and airlines included in the itinerary or otherwise forming part of the travel program.
Unless your travel program includes a Cruise or a Villa, cancellations are governed by the General Terms and Conditions. If your program includes a Cruise OR Rail journey, the Cruise and Rail Terms and Conditions will apply. If it includes a Villa, the Villa Terms and Conditions will govern cancellation.
For travel programs not involving a Cruise or Villa, cancellations made 90 days or more prior to departure will receive a full refund minus the administrative fee. Cancellations between 60 and 89 days prior to departure will result in forfeiture of the deposit, equal to 30% of the total program price. Cancellations made 59 days prior to departure will incur a charge equal to 50% of the total program price. Cancellations made 29 days or less before departure are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
